Girls will be everywhere at the 2014 convention, including as a special part of the convention ceremonies. The presence of girls at the ceremonies reminds us of what we all work collectively for every day as a part of the Movement. From the opening flag ceremony to the closing ceremonies, these girls will be front and center making us and our Movement proud.
When they aren’t on stage or busily rehearsing for a perfect performance, girls who are part of this year’s ceremonies will also have a chance to participate in other parts of the convention. Some will be part of a GSLI team or will serve as delegates for their councils, while others will be visitors for the day, taking part in the Hall of Experiences and girl spaces when their ceremony duties are over. All girls will enjoy the fun of being immersed in the Girl Scout Leadership Experience, and they will also have the chance to meet other girls from across the country and around the world and get inspired to take action in their communities when they return home.
